To be honest, I bought this book in paperback because I felt Dan has given us so much and I hadn't paid back at all. So I bought the book to support him, then loved the cover, which is an unusual design for this genre, and then loved the rest of it.

Amazed he seems to be giving it away for free here but I'm very happy to have bought it. I'm in my 60s and I find a lot in his thinking and writing which resonates and instructs

Excellent book.

Read it when. You dropped it on X.

Why does it matter if AI generated content uses em dash or other?

Give it another month and there will be some new controversy over AI.

Are we supposed to continually change our writing or habits because the perception?

If we stop doing something, for fear of perception, don't we lose ourself in the process?

At some point, the rate of change will be so extreme we cant keep up.

And here I am, a lifelong writer stuck in another analytical, soul-sucking corporate job, searching for a different way. Then your book pops up in my email. Thank you for divine timing!

Thank you so much for sharing all of this valuable content!

One of the many quotes that stood out to me was, "When people pay, they pay attention." I will definitely use this to help shift my mindset on money (as you suggested).

Lots of great information here... hopefully people will read it and pay attention even though it is free.

What hit me the most in the book:

"A calling is work you can’t pull yourself away from and others can’t help but pay you for. A calling can’t be assigned to you. A calling cannot be pursued under the orders of another. A calling cannot be defined by a set amount of working hours because your mind is always working on it. A calling is found at the point where improvement turns into obsession. A calling is something others won’t understand. Something that must be cared for, protected, and maintained by the one pursuing it, like a gift that others could accidentally steal.

A job is not a career or calling, but a career and calling are both jobs. A career is not a calling, but a calling is a career. Jobs are great for young people who don’t know what they want or simply need to survive. Careers are great for those who want a bit more satisfaction in life, because they understand the need for challenging work as a forcing function for self-development. A calling is for those who know they are meant for more." - Dan Koe

Hey Dan... QQ... is the section titled; "Problems Are the Path" an extension of 'Level of Purpose' or a separate chapter? If separate it's not part of the TOC. I get loads of value from your extensive writing and the courses I purchase.

Omg. Dude. I love you 😂. So excited I'm writing this in a comment on a different article. I just used your prompt for landing pages on Kortex with the AI there for a digital product idea I have had for months. I am new to all of this, including new to substack, and have been wondering how to create a page and feeling overwhelmed. The page is phenomemal. I now feel confident in moving forward and being very new to this in terms of creating and selling products online. Thank you!

I would never buy this book for one reason you'll never accept...

Haven't read the book yet. Gotten to the point of reading about benefits of this book. And I can tell you, all the text coming alongside with it, breaks all the rules of copywriting. Long wall of text that made me to quit reading, and write this post. .. enough said. For me as a potential buyer, it's a fail.
