I don't think AI will replace you, but I do think that if you don't have a voice, mission, or "taste, it'll expose you. Experimenting with it is great, letting it overtake you... is a slippery slope.
This was profound for me, Dan. You're a true model and master of what you teach. Thank you for so generously sharing. I often feel overwhelmed with the bigness of an idea and all of the things that are required to bring it to life, I especially resonated with the steps of how to build your world. I'm going to take it on and LEARN. Thank you.
A lot of people think they’re building an audience, but they’re just feeding the machine. The ones who survive will be the ones who build a world people actually want to inhabit. That takes perspective, not just output. Volume without vision is just noise, whether it’s human-made or AI-assisted. The future belongs to those who know the difference.
This really resonates, especially the distinction between “content” and “context.” I think a lot of people are about to learn the hard way that attention isn’t earned by volume, but by having a perspective worth returning to. AI can accelerate output, but it can’t live your experiences, wrestle with your values, or filter decisions through your personal vision. That’s the part people connect to, and that’s what survives the algorithm cycles.
I write Present & Progressing, where I share reflections on personal growth, mindset, and navigating your 20s with more intention, all from the perspective of someone documenting the process in real time. Would love to have you check it out: https://presentandprogressing.substack.com

You either create your own patterns or continue with the ones society instilled in you.
Awesome read as always 🙏
